I Manifested Free Brunch
Imagination is a preview to life’s coming attractions - Albert Einstein
In last week’s newsletter, I shared that we will be looking at some techniques of manifesting. Today I would like to share a personal challenge I have set for myself and God/the Universe. Before I share an experience let’s unpack the concept of manifestation from my perspective.
What is Manifestation?
So, what exactly is manifestation? Personally, I like to think of it as the art of making things happen by focusing our thoughts and beliefs. It's about envisioning what we want in our lives and truly believing it can come true. Think of it as a combination of goal-setting, positive thinking, and a touch of magic! The key here is believing.
The Power of Belief
The art of believing is a powerful thing. When we wholeheartedly believe in something, it's like we're sending a clear message to the universe that this is what we desire and know we can have. And the universe has a funny way of aligning with our beliefs.
Research in the field of psychology has shown that our beliefs can significantly impact our reality. Psychologist Albert Bandura, known for his work on self-efficacy, found that people who believe they can achieve their goals are more likely to actually achieve them. This is because our beliefs influence our actions and decisions.
The trick with believing when it comes to manifestation is picking a desire that is big but not so big that you personally doubt your attainment of it. As a beginner is a good idea to start small and with things that will be easy to manifest so that you build your faith and manifesting muscles.
My Manifestation
My experience with manifestation has been a very rocky journey however, as I mentioned in the beginning I challenged myself and God to help me realise manifestations become a reality and then I in turn will use my results as a testimony of proof to others. It’s been an amusing journey so far and I just started.
Even though I have some other recorded entries, I would like to share one that happened as recently as yesterday. I was meeting a friend for brunch so before I went out I did my devotion and journaling. In my journal entry, I asked to be given a miracle and wrote “It would be nice to get an all-inclusive brunch at our favourite place and a really good time”
My Free Brunch
I met with a friend and we got to the cafe, we got a very good place to sit. Yes, thought! We got the menus and as we picked our meals I asked the waiter if I could have a mimosa with mine. My friend opted for that as well. The food was good, the atmosphere was just great and the weather was perfect.
We sat there catching up and having such a great time by the time we realised 8 hours had passed and it was now dinner time. We asked for the check and as the waiter came with it and my friend said I’ll take care of this. What? I thought. I said thank you and decided not to question but to give thanks inwardly. I asked, believed and was open to the miracle and not only did we get a seat but I also got it paid for.
It might seem like nothing but for me, this was something big and yet another confirmation of how manifestation works. As we start our exploration of manifesting I would like to start you off with one fun exercise involving the use of imagination. If money and resources were not an issue what would you love to have? Take some time to journal on this and do not let anything hold you back. It can be grand or a simple thing either way give yourself that treat to dream and remember - imagination is the preview of life’s coming attractions as Einstein said.
I’d love to hear about your experience with manifestation so kindly share them or any questions in the comments.
