I’ve always had a hard time comprehending the saying ‘ let go and your manifestation will come” for how can you stop thinking about something that you really want. As I have been searching to understand this I have come to realise that the simple truth behind this lies in being open to however your desired outcome appears or something much better. The other week the topic of manifestation came up in a conversation with my friend and accountability partner. We are both avid students of mindset and personal development so going back over lessons and events to see how we have used the material we study brought the opportunity to explore where we are at with this. I shared my experience of how I have come to understand the different aspects of manifestation and how much mindset and self belief play a huge role in it.
See we can dream of wanting something and then visualise it day and night but the catch is wanting something is the direct opposite of manifesting, for wanting produces a lack frequency that makes you attract more of the same experience of want. How does mindset play into this you might ask, well in two very important ways is through a change in attitude and through developing a huge amount of self love. I do not have the perfect recipe for manifestation but here are a few of the things I have learned in my journey and studies.
Get on a higher vibration
When you switch from “I really want” to I desire to have you elevate your frequency even though both words might mean the same thing, for some reason desire seems more emotionally charged and on a higher frequency than want. Adopting this attitude has done more for me in terms of manifesting than when I used “want”. The word desire for me gets me into a states of being more feminine and as a woman that is where my most creative resources lie. So, I noticed that tapping into this energy I have allowed myself to be deserving of the things I have manifested and desire to manifest. The second vibrational switch is being grateful, yes being grateful for everything and every outcome. This can be a challenge but this has really changed the way I receive and accept outcomes.
Love yourself to see your self worthy of your desires
Mindset is everything, but self belief is golden, as they normally determine our desire to succeed or remain stuck. Having the right mindset with the wrong beliefs about ourselves is as futile as planting a seed in dry soil without any care and expecting a bountiful harvest. Self belief is the trust and our willingness to take inspired action even when we can’t see the outcome, the knowing that in order to reach our goals we don’t have to be able to see the whole picture but be able to see ourselves in that picture. When I started using “I desire to have, be or do this or that’, I was giving myself the permission and acceptance that I need to dream, just as giving myself the love I would give to others. Believing in myself included not talking myself out of things, watching my self talk and encouraging myself in the areas where I had doubts. I took myself out of the I can’t have this, I don’t have the money for this, I am not as good as this… etc equation to “I am worthy of this, I can have that if I want, and I am deserving of this.” Also, If they are doing it and I have the desire to do the same, it means I can also do it. This shift made me choose myself and my dreams over any limiting belief. When we have dreams and goals to achieve there is no telling what we can do when we believe in ourselves and work towards it, and all it takes is a step and an action at a time. Most of the time we talk ourselves out of opportunities even before we begin because of lack of self belief. Remembering that self belief will fill my tank when no one else is able to and be a peaceful assurance that helps me back on my feet when I fall I have made that a priority which has meant being consistent and persistent.
My manifestation come true
So the above is how I have come to understand the different aspects of manifestation but this won’t be enough if there wasn’t a real experience to shed more light on the learning. Recently, there have been a number of things that I desire to have and I have been working towards and on them. They are all very big things and mostly dependent on each other, so each day from beginning of the year I have visualised and journaled on these desires but carried on doing what I needed to do. My ask has been - “I really desire to have this happen, visualised to see myself with the outcome and journaled my gratitude at the end of each session. The most important part is I always say - whatever the outcome I know it is for my greater good and You have a reason. Last week I had an answer to one of these desires in a case where there was a 50/50 chance of a NO or YES I had a YES, though not entirely what I had thought but exactly what is meant for my good. In this process I went from
“I really want this in this way” to I desire to have this and whatever the outcome I know it is for my highest good.”
I put myself in a grateful receiving mode and let go of attachments to the outcome trusting that no matter what it will work out, if not as I wanted then something much better and it has.
The take away from this, I hope for you is to trust that you too can manifest with the right mindset and self belief. Letting go of the outcome doesn’t mean not thinking about or working on what you desire but rather not controlling how you want it to come to be. For things will work out always for our greater good if this has resonated please share your take in the comments.
