I have read the Science of Getting Rich (SGR) over a dozen times and honestly every time I read the less than a 100 pages book I get an understanding of it more and more. It wasn’t until recently whilst re-reading it that something clicked and it became very clear to me what this book, in not so many words was really about. See whenever I study a piece of literature I ask myself 3 questions
What is the literal meaning of the content?
What does it mean to me?
How can I apply this to my life/situation?
So on the countless times that I have read this book I have also asked these questions almost every time and as I mentioned before it was recently that I was able to connect the dots of what the SGR was all about. Yes the author talks about how to acquire money but the underlining truth is - the belief in abundance. Yes it’s that simple but there’s more to this. When the author in the preface talks about
One is All and All is One; that one Substance manifests itself as the seemingly many elements of the material world,
There is an allusion to the source of all things being limitless and infinite. If everything we see, feel, taste, touch and hear are all from One Source and this particular Source is able to manifest itself into all the different elements of our physical world then can we not justify that there is no limit to what can be manifested into reality apart from what our minds can conceive? How does abundance fall into this you might ask? Well, as I read this again and went through my questions this little line brought my awareness to the limitless Source and how everything around me is a manifestation of this same Source. What it means for me personally is, if the air I breathe, the water I drink, bathe in and swim in or the vast lands across continents are all from the same Source and we are not lacking any of these at any point in time then how can I see lack or a limit to the things I desire? Because mention is not made of things being from multiple sources but that EVERYTHING I can perceive no matter the size, quantity or destination all comes from one source. So in applying this to my life I remind myself to think big in terms of the things I desire and want to achieve. Not to limit myself to what I believe is possible because of what I can see in my circumstance or environment for I do not know the beginning and the end of where the resources to create are.
These resources are in abundance, metaphysically speaking, noting that we have global warming etc. As I made my way through the book it became apparent to me that if we at any point should experience a lack in any of the resources we will need to employ the use of our minds in ways we haven’t before for the Source that transmutes is infinite and only what we can perceive make things finite. Looking at the emergence of new tech and breakthroughs you can only say that the only limit since the beginning of time has been our minds and in seeing the abundance around us. Just see how far we’ve come in terms of cars as an example from Henry Ford’s first model to how a Ford Explorer and let this be the starting point of our journey through this book. Wherever the physical manifestation of things come from is not to be our concern, ours is to believe and be clear of exactly what it is we seek.
In the coming weeks I will like to share the golden nuggets I have discovered in the book and maybe you may also have read or be reading it, and my insights might draw your attention to aspects that might not be apparent. So before we delve into these lessons I would like to leave you pondering over this statement and what it means to you. - One is All and All is One;That One Substance manifests itself as the seemingly many elements of the material world.
