Are you a dreamer and do you have dreams that seem almost impossible? Or have you stopped dreaming because life’s realities have made you only believe in what is tangible? Well, I want to remind you that dreams do still come true and yes I stand strongly by this because all great inventions came about by their inventors dreaming and having bold audacious dreams.
What we now deem tangible were also at a point dreams in the hearts and minds of great inventors but they believed in their manifestation and even more they believed in themselves to bring these to light. Having talked at length with various people from all walks of life and with different perceptions, I have come to believe and understand why dreams are unique to each one of us.
Spiritually I know God/Source won’t put a desire in our heart if you and I didn’t have what it takes to bring these to light. We’ve been given everything and the one thing we have to master is Self Belief. Self-belief because there will be times of doubt, disappointments and setbacks and the one thing that is sure to pull us through is believing in our dreams, our ability to see it through and our reason for wanting that dream. Sometimes no one will believe in your dreams but yourself and that is absolutely fine.
This is also when we have to hold that vision strongly as we work towards making this dream a reality. No one knows when a dream will manifest and even with strict timelines we still might not accomplish them in the set time but this is not a failure as long as we don’t give up. So many factors can contribute to a dream not manifesting at our appointed time or the first time we try our hands at something and that is OK.

We course correct or keep taking action for by law what we put in we must reap. There is a dream I have and have been working on for some time now and though it sometimes seems like it’s taking longer I know that believing in myself and being consistent is not only taking me to the desired destination but even more so the person I am becoming.
I believe that whatever I set my mind to I can achieve with determination and consistency but I can only weather the storms if only I believe in myself and my abilities. So as I work towards this dream which is a big one, I acknowledge my hard days, celebrate my great days and appreciate the lessons I am learning along the way.
Iam not afraid to dream big dreams but I also know that just dreaming without action is worthless. Though sometimes we might not know how or where to start I always take consolation in the fact that I have what it takes to do this for out of 7 billion people, I am possibly the only one with this exact desire in my heart and so I can make this happen.
Yes, believing I can do it is what gets me started and what has made me try my hands at several things, some of which haven’t been successful but isn’t that what life is about? You and I are allowed to have big, scary dreams that no one can understand but us, and for us to see it through we need to believe in ourselves and the fact that we are worth them and can do it.
So my encouragement to you as we start a new week is, let’s have big audacious dreams that scare us but with these desires must come inspired action however little these may be.
Let’s believe in ourselves so much that any setbacks don’t keep us off track but give us a chance to course correct for as in Habakkuk 2:3 the dream will happen at the appointed time it won’t delay though it’s keeping long it will surely happen. The time we think it will take for it to happen will pass anyway so why don’t we take action on it anyway and see how far we get?
