We are slowly getting into the rhythm of things in 2024 and as we continue working on and at the goals we’ve set or at the tasks at our jobs there might be times when we have moments of doubt. Doubt in ourselves and in the flow of life. This is normal and everyone experiences this at some point on their journey.
Even if it’s just a personal goal to change your self-image or trait you are bound to encounter that nagging voice. My goal for every year since I got into personal development has been to be the best version of myself, however, I’ve battled with the nagging voice of self-doubt and the weight of imposter syndrome on so many occasions and still do when I have a new goal to achieve.
But through every setback and stumble, I've learned that my worth isn't defined by fleeting moments of insecurity. It's about embracing my journey, flaws and all, and recognizing that growth comes from within. So, I choose to work on myself with compassion, patience and kindness, nurturing my self-worth like I would a dear one.
This journey isn't always easy, but every step forward is a victory—a testament to my resilience and determination. As we start the week, I would like to share some more insights on the concepts of self-affirmation and imposter syndrome.
On the blog this week you will find,
Self-Worth Affirmations: How Positive Thinking Can Enhance Your Self-Worth
I am worthy, I am enough – these words have been my anchors for a good while now and though it might not be the first time you’ve read them, thinking and speaking these positive words have been instrumental in building my self-worth. Whenever I think back on my journey and how far I’ve come I’m still awed by the impact working on my self-worth has had on the woman I’ve become.
Overcoming Self-Doubt And Imposter Syndrome
“What if they don’t like me? Who am I to think I can manage a team?” These were some of the questions that kept on bothering me for a good number of years at the start of my career. Have you ever felt like you don’t quite belong or deserve your success? You’re far from alone. Self-doubt and imposter syndrome are common experiences that can hinder our personal and professional growth.
Hope you find these and other resources on the blog helpful, if so kindly do share the posts or your experiences on these themes in the comments. Have a great week ahead.
