Taking Time to Appreciate Your Achievements
The more you practice the art of thankfulness the more you have to be thankful for
Happy new week! In this week’s newsletter, I want to explore an aspect of manifestation that is often forgotten - remembering to celebrate and appreciate the success of a manifestation when it finally happens.
I know how easy it is to immediately move on to the next goal when you've finally achieved that manifestation you've been working so hard towards.
However, it's so important to take a moment and truly indulge in the glory of your accomplishment. Personally, I know how tempting it can be to just check that box and move forward, but I've found that pausing to appreciate my manifestations is crucial for maintaining that positive momentum.
For example, I recently manifested my dream apartment after months of visualizing, affirmations, and dedicated action. Immediately I got the offer I forgot what a journey it had been and to take time and acknowledged it because I was already on the next thing on my list.
So, it came as no surprise when my sister made me aware of remembering to enjoy this state because it was what I had been praying for months ago. Of course, I was thrilled and eager to get all settled in my new place. But before I did, I made sure to set aside an entire afternoon to celebrate. I treated myself to a nice lunch, went for a long walk in nature to soak it all in, and even had a little dance party in my mum’s living room. Doing this allowed me to fully integrate the energy of that manifestation and get grounded in the reality of my new circumstances.
It is worth noting that when we rush past our manifestations, we miss out on an important opportunity for self-care and confidence-building. For me, it always boils down to our sense of self-worth because knowing that we are worthy of our desires helps us to appreciate them better. Taking the time to genuinely appreciate what we've created reminds us of our power and worth. It helps reinforce the idea that we are worthy of good things and that we have the ability to make our dreams a reality.
So, as we start a new week, I would like to encourage you that the next time you manifest something amazing, resist the urge to immediately move on. Instead, plan a special day (or even just an hour!) to savour the experience. Do something that makes you feel joyful and proud. Write in a gratitude journal. Share the news with your loved ones. Soak in the glow of your accomplishment.
Trust me, taking this time will make all the difference in helping you maintain that positive momentum and continue manifesting even greater things. So remember to celebrate yourself and your manifestations - you deserve it!
