Dear Sheila, I truly resonated with your words and I too use some of the techniques.

I'm going through this at the moment and I'm reminding myself again how to slow down, self generate joy and treat myself with kindness.

The mirror doesn't work for me but saying things at loud really does.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

Hello Maria I’m so glad this found you at the right moment and you resonate with it. I admire you for this, reminding yourself to slow down and taking the time to practice some of these practices is not easy so well done. It’s more than OK that you don’t vibe with all practices. These are what have worked for me and my hope was to share so someone will get inspired by at least one. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts truly appreciated 💕🙏🏽

Sheila, this is such an amazing and inspiring post. It really spoke to me. So much of what you shared felt deeply familiar, especially how self-neglect can hide in the small, everyday things. That line about drifting quietly until you can’t anymore hit me hard. I’ve definitely been in that space too, where you seem to be “functioning” on the outside, but inside, you’re slowly fading. I love how gently you invite us back to ourselves, no shame, just softness. The rituals, the check-ins, even just naming it… it all felt like a comforting reminder to return to myself. Thank you, this was exactly what I needed today. Love your posts everyweek. They are a great start to the week 🥰😍❤️✨️🫶🏻

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and thoughts about this post Saira. I am truly grateful you found value in the rituals I share. They’ve been instrumental in my healing journey and I still practice them when I feel like I’m slipping into old habits. I used to be hard on myself but along this journey I’ve realized the power of being and allowing softness into our lives. It warms my heart a lot to read your comments. Thank you for your continuing support and love ❤️🙏🏽

My pleasure, Sheila! I’m so grateful you continue to share your journey with such honesty and care, it’s helping so many of us. Your rituals and reflections are such a gentle anchor in the chaos of everyday life. I especially loved what you said about allowing softness into our lives. That’s something I’m learning too: how to pause, breathe, and stop treating myself like a problem to be solved. You remind us that healing isn’t a destination, but a way of being with ourselves more kindly. It’s comforting to know we’re not alone in this process. Thank you for continuing to show up and share your heart, it helps more than you know. Sending love always! ❤️🥰✨️🫶🏻🕊
